The extra-large size in our galvanised steel window box planter range — the same distressed vintage style, at 99 cm long and 23.5 cm deep. At just under a metre in length it spans a full bay window sill, a long wall ledge, or a generous run of garden fencing or balustrade. The 23.5 cm depth is the deepest in the window box range, giving the most root volume and making it suitable for larger flowering plants and established herbs alongside seasonal bedding. Same shallow 15.5 cm height throughout the range. At 3 kg empty, check that your windowsill brackets or fixings are rated for the combined weight of planter, compost, and plants.
